The Sarasota County Police
Athletic League selects recipients from the 6th grade each
year to receive full college scholarships upon graduation from
high school and a mentoring program.
Recipients receive a full
tuition, 4-year Florida Pre-Paid College Scholarship
(2 years tuition at a community college and 2 years tuition at a
state university).
Mentors are assigned who will
meet weekly with the recipients at the schools in cooperation
with the school officials and parents to assist and encourage
recipients to achieve their full potential.
All applications must be
completed and submitted prior to November 15th in order to be
considered.
