Sailor Circus
The
Greatest "Little" Show on Earth
In 2004, PAL took over the operation
of the Sailor Circus as one of our after school programs.
Now in its fifth decade of performances, Sailor Circus has grown
from a small high school gymnastics class in 1949 to the present
spectacular, four-ring youth circus known world-wide as The
Greatest "Little" Show On Earth.
Throughout the years, more than 8,500 students have performed
for more than one million attendees. Audiences from
Fairbanks, Alaska to Fukuoka, Japan have marveled at the skill
and ability of these kids ranging from 3rd graders to high
school seniors. Dedicated students practice 20 to 30 hours
a week under the tutelage of volunteer coaches who are retired
circus performers, Sailor Circus Alumni, and enthusiastic
parents.
